Onstru («we,» «our,» or «us») operates the Onstru Porter mobile application. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share information about you when you use our application to provide delivery services.

To provide a reliable delivery ecosystem, we collect several types of information essential for the fulfillment of our Service to you.
📍 Location Data Disclosure (Critical)
Our app requires continuous access to your location data to enable real-time delivery tracking for vendors and customers.
- Background Location Access: Onstru Porter collects location data to enable real-time tracking of assigned shipments even when the app is closed or not in use. This ensures that the vendor and the final customer receive accurate, up-to-the-minute ETA and location updates while you are in transit.
- Foreground Service: We use a Foreground Service with a persistent notification to ensure location updates remain active and reliable while you are driving, especially when using other navigation apps or when your device screen is off.
- Usage Timing: Location collection begins only when you manually "Register Tracking" or have an active delivery session. Collection stops immediately and entirely when the order is marked as delivered via OTP verification.
2. Types of Data Collected
- Personal Identifier: Mobile number.
- Location Data: Fine and coarse location coordinates (GPS, GPS-A, network based).
- Device Information: Device model, OS version, and unique identifiers (for service stability).
3. How We Use Your Data
- Enabling real-time shipment updates for vendors and customers.
- Verifying successful deliveries via OTP protocols.
- Maintaining service stability through foreground service notifications.
- Safety and logistics network optimization.
4. Sharing of Data
Your real-time location is shared only with the specific vendor who issued the order and the customer who is receiving the shipment. We do not share your location data or personal information with third-party data brokers or for advertising/marketing purposes.
5. Your Choices and Controls
You can grant or revoke location permissions at any time through your device settings. However, disabling location access will disable the core tracking and delivery verification features of the Onstru Porter app.
